This track from a young London band caught The Quack's ears by storm with its wonderful hooks, 7-beats and constricted chord progressions. The previous single, To Be Young, was an exposé in the "IT'S JUST TWO CHORDS OK" style of new new wave. Radio Silence, on the other hand, is a more versatile piece of music, with a great chorus flying off then bending itself backwards around a single note. All in all a great alt pop song staying clear of common cliches then blowing you away on its own musical logic. Yes we are receiving you.
The EP where this comes from is released tomorrow, the follow up to two previous singles. Let us hope a full-length is coming in the near future.
